1. Who we are
ukdevjobs is operated by [Company name] Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number [00000000], registered office [registered address]. You can contact us at [support@domain].
2. What ukdevjobs is
ukdevjobs is a search engine for software development jobs in the UK. We collect public job listings from employers' own systems, job APIs and other job boards, remove duplicates, write a short summary and link to the original application page. We are not an employer, an employment agency or an employment business, and we do not introduce you to employers or handle applications.
3. Listings and accuracy
Listings belong to the employers and sources that published them. We show salary, location, working pattern, contract type, IR35 status, visa sponsorship and technologies only when the listing states them, and we say “Not stated” otherwise. We check apply links daily but cannot guarantee that a role is still open, that the details are correct, or that an employer will respond. Always rely on the employer's own page.
4. Using the site
- Browsing and searching are free and do not need an account.
- You may link to any page. You may not scrape the site at a rate that affects other users, or republish our summaries as a dataset without permission.
- You must not use the site to send spam, to impersonate an employer, or to interfere with our systems.
5. Accounts
An account needs only a verified email address; we sign you in by emailed link and never store a password. Temporary email addresses and “+” aliases are not accepted. You can export or delete your account data at any time from your account page. We may close accounts that break these terms.
6. Paid features
The site includes an optional paid feature for revealing apply links which is currently switched off. If it is switched on, the price (£2.99 per job or £10 a month, after 3 free reveals) will be shown before you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card details. You are paying for the convenience ukdevjobs provides, not for the job, and the same listing is usually free to find at its source. Refunds and cancellation are covered in the refunds policy.
7. Promoted listings
Employers may pay to have a listing shown first for a period. Promoted listings are labelled as such and are subject to the same checks as other listings.
8. Removal and corrections
Employers and sources can ask for a listing to be removed or corrected at /takedown. We act within two working days. Anyone can report a problem from a job page.
9. Liability
We provide the site with reasonable care but “as is”. We are not responsible for the content of listings or of the sites we link to, for an employer's decisions, or for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and material changes to paid features are emailed to account holders in advance.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting your rights as a consumer in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
