Cookies
We only set an essential cookie to keep you signed in. Optional analytics are cookieless and aggregated.
The one cookie we set
| Name | Purpose | Set when | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
dr_session | Keeps you signed in. Strictly necessary; no consent needed under PECR. | Only after you sign in | 30 days, or until you sign out |
If you never sign in, we set no cookies at all.
Analytics without cookies
When you choose “Allow analytics” in the notice at the bottom of the page, your browser sends us the path of each page you view. We add one to a daily counter for that path and keep nothing else: no identifier, no IP address, no fingerprint. Choosing “Essential only” sends nothing. Either choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key dr_consent; clear your site data to see the notice again and choose differently.
Third parties
Stripe sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout page if you buy something; those are covered by Stripe's policy. The sites you apply on set their own cookies once you have left ukdevjobs. We embed no advertising, social or analytics scripts from anyone else.
Local storage
dr_consent: your analytics choice, “essential” or “analytics”.
